Lisa Busnengo is an abstract acrylic and mixed media artist.  An ever changing assembly of works are available to view by appointment at her gallery space and studio located at 1167 Russells Mills Rd, South Dartmouth, MA.  Most recently, her artistic expression has lead to the creation of a series and signature collection of pieces she has entitled 'Astral Portraits'.  The Astral Portrait shown above is 'Fullness Composite'.  

                                           

In August of 2022, Lisa was approached by Concerts@the Point representative, Nina Rensenhouse, with a request to collaborate.  Concerts@the Point is a non-profit organization that pairs local artists with classical musicians. 
On March 26, 2023, a small assembly of Lisa's work was on exhibit in collaboration with a performance by the 'Frisson Ensemble'.  Featured on the posters and programs for the concert is Lisa's piece 'Spin' 1.

" 'Frisson' comes from the French word meaning 'a shiver or a thrill, a sudden feeling of excitement'.  We feel that Lisa Busnengo's dramatic color combinations-yellow, orange, green, and that wonderful deep blue-produce just such a feeling".   Nina Rensenhouse
